Obituary of Newton Romualdo

Newton Romualdo of Landing passed away Saturday September 16, 2017 at Morristown Medical Center in Morristown.

He was 54.

Born in Sao Paulo, SP Brazil, he came to the United States in 1965. He lived in Wharton before moving to Landing two years ago.

A letter carrier with the United States Postal System in Livingston, Newton was also the owner of Mighty Gibbors in Dover. A member of the Sparta Evangelical Free Church in Sparta, he ran their video ministry. He enjoyed bobsledding, softball, hockey and football.

Devoted father of Daniel Joseph and Krystyn Nicole Romualdo. Loving grandfather of Lykah Siyuri Romualdo. Cherished son of Mario and the late Lili (nee: Towkan) Romualdo. Dear brother of Mario Romualdo Jr. and Richard Romualdo.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Newton’s Life Celebration on Thursday September 21 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Sparta Evangelical Free Church, 429 Lafayette Road, Sparta, New Jersey 07871 (973-300-1717). A Prayer Service will begin at 7:00PM.

He will be laid to rest on Friday September 22 in the Hollywood Memorial Park in Union. All are welcome to meet at the funeral home at 10:00AM for the procession to the cemetery.
