Life Story of Rose M. Bizzarri

Rose (nee: Pisano) Bizzarri passed away Thursday November 23, 2017 surrounded by her family in Succasunna New Jersey.

She shared with all who crossed her path her love of children, her summers at the Jersey shore her winters in Florida gathering shells at the beach and her 73 years with her beloved husband Angelo. She was a proud homemaker and self styled entrepreneur who sold clothes, jewelry and Avon from her home. She was married in South Carolina when her late husband won a three day pass from the U. S. Army in a jitterbug contest. She looked stunning in her handmade wedding dress that cost all of $10. She returned to New Jersey and served her country making war supplies at Picatinny Arsenal.

She is the devoted mother of Louis Bizzarri and Sondra De Rosa, loving grandmother to two grandchildren Angelo and Tisa Bizzarri and great grandmother to Matt, Shawn and Luke.

Services will be held on Wednesday November 29, privately for immediate family from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. and relatives and friends from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing N.J.

A prayer service will be offered on Thursday, November 30, at 10:30am at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home. Rose will be laid to rest following the service next to her late husband Angelo at Union Stanhope Cemetery.
