Obituary of Gloria D. Quenault

Gloria D. Quenault, 89, of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Chilton Memorial Hospital in Pompton Plains, NJ surrounded by her daughters. Gloria was born on April 16, 1928 in Morristown, NJ to the late Luigi and the late Rosina (Conduzzi) DeRienzo. Mrs. Quenault worked for the Borough of Hopatcong for 26 years, serving in numerous positions including Secretary to the Administrator, the Municipal Court and retiring at age 80 as the Program Director of the Housing Community Rehabilitation Program. Gloria was a 1946 graduate of Morristown High School and attended the Business School of NY. She was a member of the Hopatcong Woman's Club, a member of the Red Hats Society, an active parishioner of St. Jude's RC Church and she never forgot a birthday. Gloria is survived by her devoted, daughters, Shelley Q. Ebbinghouser and Heather E. Quenault, her cherished grandson, Dukes McCoy, her sister, Josephine and her brother, Louis. She was predeceased by her brother, Nicholas DeRienzo. Gloria's Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday, December 14th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Friday, December 15th at 10:30 am at St. Jude RC Church, 40 Maxim Drive in Hopatcong, NJ. All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
