Obituary of Thomas J. Gunther

Thomas J. Gunther 49, of Byram Twp., NJ passed away Thursday, December 7, 2017 at Hackensack Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Born in Passaic, NJ he lived in Tukerton, NJ and Bushkill, PA before moving to Byram Twp. Thomas worked for Home Depot as a District Execution Manager. He was an avid sports fan of many sports, but his favorites were the New York Jets, New York Yankees and New York Knicks. Thomas was a Board Member and Coach with the Hobb Engler-Byram Little League. He also loved fishing and camping. Thomas is survived by his beloved wife Heidi. His loving son Andrew Gunther. Cherished son of Robert and Dolores Gunther and his in-laws James and Barbara Krieger. Dear sister Roberta Hutting and nephew Lucas. Dear brother of Joseph Gunther, Timothy Gunther and his wife Jen, and niece Chloe. He is also survived by brother-in-law Michael Krieger and Tina and Chase Baskinger. Thomas's Life Celebration will be held on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 from 4 to 8pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A family eulogy will be said at 7:30pm at the funeral home. Please omit flowers. Donations may be made directly to the family for the benefit of his son Andrew.
