Obituary of William P. Peterson

William P. Peterson of Budd Lake passed away Friday, September 13, 2013. He was 91 years old. Born in Brooklyn, NY. William resided in Hopatcong for 39 years before moving to Budd Lake 6 ½ years ago. He worked as an employee for Western Electric in Kearny. William enjoyed model trains, crossword puzzles and wood working. William is survived by Helen, his wife of over 68 years, and his daughters Karen (and her spouse, Louisa Pesce) and Maureen, and his sons Kenneth (and his wife Jayne), William D. (and his partner, Millie Cruz), Richard, and Robert, and by his brother, Robert T. Peterson, and his sister, Agnes Palmer. William is the cherished grandfather of four grandsons. He was predeceased by his brothers John, Paul and Francis. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend William's Life Celebration on Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. A prayer service will be held at 5:30pm in the funeral home. There will be a private cremation on Monday, September 16, 2013.
