Obituary of Nancy Elsa Kunz

Nancy Elsa Kunz passed away suddenly, though peacefully at her home in Hopatcong, NJ on Sunday, January 28, 2018. She was 74 years old, born in 1943, in Kew Gardens, Queens, NY to the late Carlton and the late Gladys (Gundry) McKinley. Nancy resided in Hopatcong for the last 47 years. She was retired but continued to work part-time as a hostess for the Meadow Woods Manor. Prior to that, she was employed by Fabrications by Sheila in Hopatcong and later started her own business, Fabric Creations, which she operated until retirement. She enjoyed dancing, hiking, and traveling throughout the world. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and many friends. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Dana Falloon & her husband, Mark, her son, David Kunz & his wife Kathryn, her cherished grandchildren, Gwyneth and Jack, Nate, Gus, & Bradley. She is also survived by her sister, Carol Becklein & her husband, Charlie; her brother, Carlton McKinley & his wife, Reggie, as well as countless friends she considered family. A Celebration of Life Gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018, from 2:00-5:00 pm at the Meadow Woods Manor, 461 NJ- Route 10, Randolph, NJ 07869. All services have been entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ. For memorial, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation to a charity of your choice be made in her honor.
