Obituary of Donna Marie Gorman

Donna Marie Lyko Gorman of Ledgewood, NJ passed away suddenly but peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at St. Clare's Hospital - Dover Campus surrounded by her loving family. She was 71 years old. Mrs. Gorman was born on September 24, 1946 in Garfield, NJ to the late Joseph and the late Emily (Dobzynski) Lyko.

Mrs. Gorman was an accounts receivable clerk at Kings Supermarket in West Caldwell, NJ for many years before retiring. She graduated New England College with a degree in education. Donna was a very active parishioner at St. Therese RC Church in Succasunna where she was a former President and longtime member of the Rosary Society. She resided in Ledgewood, NJ for the past 14 years and previous to that, she lived in North Caldwell. Donna enjoyed mahjong, board games, traveling the world and day trips but most importantly she loved spending time with her family and many friends.

Donna is survived by her devoted daughter, Tara Postigo & her husband, Renzo, her devoted son, Edward Gorman, her cherished granddaughter Liliana, her great-granddaughter, Delilah, her step-grandchildren, Jordan, Nicole and Aarom and her dear friends, Carol, Mary Ellen, Emily and Joan. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Richard in 2007.

Donna's Life Celebration will include visitation on Tuesday, February 6th from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Wednesday, February 7th at 10:00 am at St. Therese RC Church, 151 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ #973-584-9133. Family & friends are invited to meet directly at the church on Wednesday morning. Cremation will be conducted privately.
