Obituary of Dennis Petrillo

Dennis Petrillo of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by his loving family. He was 65 years old. Dennis was born on March 12, 1952 in Newark, NJ to the late Vito Petrillo and the late Antoinette Franchinni.

Mr. Petrillo owned and operated D&F Contractors in Belleville, NJ for many years. More recently, he was a Licensed Real Estate Broker specializing in new home construction sales. Dennis resided in Hopatcong, NJ for 26 years and previous to that, he lived in Belleville, NJ. He was an avid sportsman who enjoyed hunting, a lifelong Dallas Cowboys Fan and he ejoyed cooking, but most importantly, Dennis loved spending time with his cherished family.

Dennis is survived by his beloved wife of 46 years, Deborah (Ritacco), his devoted daughter, Nadia Corino & her husband, Daniel and his devoted son, Dennis Jr. & his significant other, Pam. Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren, Nicole and Joseph, his godson, Michael Martinez, Pam's daughter, Chloe, his sisters, Patricia Alexander, Michele Petrillo and Monique Petrillo, his brothers, Michael Petrillo and Jerry Petrillo and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Dennis's Life Celebration Services will include a visitation on Tuesday, February 20th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and again from 6:00 to 8:00 pm with a Catholic Blessing offered at 6:30 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Cremation will be conducted privately.
