Obituary of Helen Ciccarelli

Helen Ciccarelli, 90, of Hopatcong, passed away peacefully at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, on June 8, 1927 to the late Bernard and Helen Scagnelli, Helen resided in Hopatcong for many years. She was a loyal parishioner at St. Jude's Church in Hopatcong.

Helen was predeceased by her husband, Henry in 1981, her son, Henry, Jr. in 1998 and her son-in-law, Philip Hirlemann in 2016.

Survivors include her daughter, Helene Ciccarelli-Hirlemann, four grandchildren, Joseph Ciccarelli and wife, Noelle, Tarah Ciccarelli-DaSilva and husband, Steve, Helene Harryn and husband, Kirk and Jerry Veturino and wife, Stefanie, seven great grandchildren, Nathan, Isabella, Gianna, Zachary, Michael, Lucas and Dylan and two sisters, Jean Santoro and Rosemary Williamson. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.

Helen's Life Celebration will include visiting on Monday, March 5, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A Liturgy of Christian Burial on Tuesday March 6, 2018 at 10am at St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong. Helen will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township.
