Obituary of Elena C. Lazzaro

Elena C. Lazzaro, 96, of Byram Township, passed away on Monday March 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Stubenville, OH, on October 26, 1921 to the late Nicholas and Mary (Danzzetta) Bello, Elena resided in North Bergen prior to moving to Byram 54 years ago. She was the owner and operator, with her late husband, Harry, of Elena Decorators in Netcong. Elena was a 4H Club cooking instructor, a member of the Women's Club of Lake Hopatcong, the NJ Ceramic League, Netcong Business Association, Friends and Neighbors of Panther Valley, Companion of Pauline Sisters of Christian Charity, she was an avid gardener and enjoyed ceramics.

Elena was predeceased by her husband, Harry C. in 1998, two sisters Ida Imbimbo and Eva Silvia and two brothers, Albert Bello and Salvatore Bello.

Survivors include three daughters Cynthia A. Sturla and husband, Tony, Lenore A. Lazzaro and Roxann M. Gambino, three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, one great great granddaughter, a sister, Olga Avella and many loving nieces and nephews.
