Obituary of Adam T. Szopinski

Adam T. Szopinski of Washington NJ passed away Thursday May 17, 2018 at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Somerset, surrounded by his loving family.

He was 49.

Born in Chicago IL., he lived in Mt. Arlington before moving to Washington in 2012.

A material manager with a great sense of humor who was the "class clown" throughout grade and high school, Adam cherished spending time with family and friends with whom he was very generous. A passion for cooking, he was voted New Jersey Best Home Chef in 2013. A NJ Devil's fan, he enjoyed listening to and playing the guitar and traveling, especially his trips to Disneyworld and taking the Dumbo ride.

Beloved husband of Tiffany (nee: Mahoney) Szopinski. Devoted father of Henrik Talan Szopinski. Loving son of Adam F. and Lidia (nee: Bubel) Szopinski. Dear brother of David Stanley Szopinski. Also survived by his in-laws John and Maureen Mahoney and Greg and Susan Mahoney, aunts, uncles, cousins and his loyal dog Emma.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Adam's Life Celebration on Tuesday May 22 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. Sharing of Words will begin at 7:30PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made directly to the family for the benefit of his son, Henrik Talan Szopinski.
