Obituary of Harriet M. Feeley

Harriet M. Feeley of Chunky, Mississippi passed away peacefully on Saturday May 26, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old. Harriet was born January 19, 1934 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Henry and the late Minnie (Shindle) Jeffs.

Mrs. Feeley was employed at Peavey Electronics in Meridian, Mississippi for many years before retiring. Harriet lived in Jersey City and Lakewood, NJ and Mississippi. She enjoyed crocheting, crafts, collecting dolls and making hook rugs. Most importantly, Harriet loved and cherished her large family especially her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Harriet is survived by her devoted children; Harriet North, Jane Demeo, James Feely (Edinea), Thomas Feeley, Michele Roberts (David), Theresa Sparacino (Robert) and Keith Feeley (Marie), her grandchildren; Brian, Anthony, Jennifer, Shawn, Melissa, Salvatore, Daniel, Dana, Jessica, James III, Christopher, Filipe, Danielle, Amanda, Douglas, David, Darci, Steven, Shyrrel, Raquel, Robert, Lauren and Keith, and 27 great great grandchildren. Additional survivors include, her brother, George Jeffs and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, James Feeley in 1992, her daughter-in-law, Peggy, her son-in-law, Donald, and nine siblings.

Harriet’s Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday, May 31^st from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.  There will be a funeral service on Friday, June 1^st  9:30 AM also at the Funeral Home.  Harriet will be laid to rest at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ.  All services are entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.  For memorial donations, please consider the Gideons International, P.O.
