Obituary of Betty DiBernard

Betty J. DiBernard of Netcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice in Dover surrounded by her loving family. She was 85 years old. Mrs. DiBernard was born on October 10, 1932 in Dover, NJ to the late John and the late Doris (Miller) Sutton.

Mrs. DiBernard was a lifelong resident of Netcong, NJ and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She enjoyed baking, cooking, shopping, word puzzles and collecting Betty Boop memorabilia but most importantly, Betty loved spending time with her loving family. Betty was a devout catholic and an active parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church in Netcong.

Betty is survived by her beloved husband of 66 years, Louis, her sons, Louis & his wife, Louise and Wayne & his wife, Marybeth, her daughter, Karen Frey, her cherished grandchildren, Steven, Lauren, Jason, Christopher, Brittany, Marissa and Kayley and her great great-granddaughters, Melody and Gemma. She was predeceased by her son, Gary, her sister, Dreitha Rossetti and her brothers, John and Donald Sutton.

Betty's Life Celebration will include visitation on Friday, June 15th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. There will be a funeral mass on Saturday, June 16th at 9:30 am at St. Michael's RC Church, 4 Church Street, in Netcong, NJ. Betty will be laid to rest at the Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt.
