Obituary of Raymond J. Blide

Raymond J. Blide of Budd Lake, NJ passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 23rd at Hackettstown Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 81 years old. Raymond was born on June 14, 1937 in Morristown, NJ to the late Leander and the late Dorothy (Jennings) Blide. Mr. Blide was employed by the A&P Supermarket in Flanders, NJ as a meat cutter for 42 years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Raymond enjoyed fishing, hunting, target shooting, boating and spending time with his family. He lived in the Shore Hills section of Roxbury Twp. and Peachtree Village in Hackettstown before moving to Budd Lake a few years ago. Raymond is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Marilyn (Connelly), his daughters, Deb Blide and Denise Falks and his cherished grandchildren, Danielle Weber & her husband, Bruce and Matthew Falks. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Donald and Stanley Blide. All services will be conducted privately and at the convenience of the family.
