Obituary of Kenneth J. Dzikowicz

Kenneth J. Dzikowicz of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, July 9, 2018 at the Andover Subacute and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 73 years old. Ken was born on October 26, 1944 in Jersey City, NJ to the late Josephine (Manorek) and Anthony Dzikowicz.

Ken was the Human Resource Manager at Equitable Life Insurance Company in New York City where he worked for over 25 years before retiring. He later worked at Manning USA in Dover as the Quality Control Supervisor. Ken was a lifelong resident of New Jersey, residing in Jersey City, Vernon, Mt. Arlington, and Hopatcong. Ken received his Bachelor's Degree from St. Peter's College in Jersey City (1969). He enjoyed fishing, cruises, gardening, bird watching, and trips to Atlantic City. Ken was a member of the Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge #782 and the Hopatcong Seniors.

Ken is survived by his children: Danette Sell (James), Ardith Raizanow, Pattiann Beach (Benjamin), Kenneth Dzikowicz (Michelle), Samantha Geissinger (Dewayne), Jennifer Dzikowicz (Christopher), Gabrielle Miller, Jason Dzikowicz (Jesse). His companion: Dorothy Milne along with her children John Milne, Laura Diese, Scott Milne. As well as his brothers: Father Justin Dzikowicz and Andrew Dzikowicz (Evelyn). Additional survivors include his cherished grandchildren: Linda, Jessica, David, Catherine, Joshua, Anthony, Sydney, Zackary, Gehrig, Aaron, Thurman, Harmon, Madison, Genevieve, Tyler, Ethan, Jacob, Liliana, Leo. Great-grandchildren: Lorelai, Lachlan, Isabel, Elias. He was predeceased by his former wife Patricia Dzikowicz, his brother Robert Dzikowicz, and his granddaughter Gabrielle Raizanow.

Ken's Life Celebration Service will include a Memorial Mass on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Abbey, 289 US Highway-206 in Newton, NJ - #973-383-2470. Family and friends are invited to meet for the service, noon luncheon to follow. In addition, the family is also planning a Memorial Gathering at the Lake Hopatcong Elks Lodge #782, 201 Howard Blvd, Mt Arlington, NJ which will be announced at a later date. All services were entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ. For memorial donations, please consider St. Paul's Abbey in Ken's memory.
