Obituary of Charles D. McNear

Charles D. McNear, Jr. of Byram passed away Thursday July 19, 2018 at home.

He was 77.

Born in Dover, he lived in Port Morris before moving to Byram 17 years ago.

Prior to his retirement, Charles was a machinist for Stapling Machines Co. in Rockaway.

A member of the Budd Lake Masons and the Lakeland Bass Masters, he enjoyed hunting, trapping, fishing and skeet shooting.

Beloved husband of Edwina (nee: LaBar) McNear. Devoted father of the late Charles D. McNear III. Loving son of the late Charles D., Sr. and the late Alice (nee: Craun) McNear.

All arrangements are being conducted privately.
