Obituary of Winifred June Smith

Winifred June Smith, 80, of the Landing section of Roxbury passed away peacefully, at her home, on Saturday July 28, 2018 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Morristown on May 6, 1938, Winifred worked as a hostess/waitress for many diners in the area including the Budd Lake Diner, Belvidere Diner, Fireside Diner and Roxbury Diner. Winifred was a very spiritual person and was proud of her deep connection with God. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Bingo.

Survivors include her husband, William, sons James Ogle and Marcus Ogle, daughters, Darlene Straway, Susan Patton and Carol Kepler and another son, Winfield Smith. She was also survived by 14 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, a sister, Margaret Mandeville and two cats, Princess and Buckwheat.

Arrangements were held privately.
