Obituary of John L. Kracht

John L. Kracht of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at St. Clare's Hospital Dover Campus surrounded by his loving family. He was 80 years old. John is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Judith (nee Genaro), his children, Katherine Marcus (Irwin), Judy Tobin (Jim), Janet Krucinski (Tony), John and Joseph (Jo-Anne), his cherished grandchildren, Jimmy, Jaimie, Justin, Jordan, Jenny and Emma and his brother-in-law, James Genaro (Linda). He was pre-deceased by his son, Charlie Morgan in 2013. Mr. Kracht was born on November 20, 1937 in Jersey City, NJ to the late John and Rose (Pierro) Kracht. He was a resident of Hopatcong for the past 55 years . John was a store manager for RoNetco Shop Rite for many years before retiring. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed sports, weather watching, gardening, puzzles and trips to A.C. but most importantly, he loved spending time with his cherished family. John's Life Celebration will include a visitation on Wednesday, August, 8th from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a 7:30 pm "Remembrance Service" at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
