I first met Charlie Cat in 1978 when I transferred from Newark barracks to Netcong. It only took me a few days to realize that he was a Senior man to be Trusted. Back then; he was one of three that were running a squad waiting to be made Buck Sgt. Everybody Loved the Cat Man and wanted to work for him. Godspeed to you my friend.

charley and I go way back to little league i was a pitcher and he was my catcher. he was one of the gang . me Johnny Mathews , barney block, bud sisco. larry tallman. Joe maggioi I saw charley at my fathers funeral in aug 1989. sorry for your loss. he and I were really close growing up.
