Obituary of Paul F. White

Paul F. White of Stanhope passed away Thursday September 13, 2018 at the VA New Jersey Health Care System, Lyons.

He was 91.

Born in Hamburg, he was a lifelong resident of Stanhope.

A member of the Port Morris United Methodist Church, Paul was also a member of the Stanhope Fire Department, Stanhope Senior Citizens, Stanhope Shade Tree Commission and the American Legion Post 278 of Stanhope (where he would visit daily).

Enjoying senior trips, Paul also enjoyed helping other's including opening his home to someone in need and playing the lottery everyday hoping to win "the big one".

Beloved husband of the late Marie and the late Eleanor. Devoted father of Kimberly A. Suazo and her husband Edwin, the late William and the late Jerry. Cherished grandfather of Angela Criscuolo, the late Fortunato Criscuolo and Stacey Chablis. Loving great grandfather of Gabriella Criscuolo and Alexander Swider.  Dear brother of Fay Eden.  Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and longtime beloved friends.

Paul's Life Celebration will include a Memorial Service on Saturday October 6th at 9:30AM at the Port Morris United Methodist Church, 296 Center Street, Landing.

Interment to follow in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Township.

All are invited back to the American Legion Post 278, 119 NJ 183, Stanhope following the committal services at the cemetery.
