This is my cousin. Jesse's Dad didn't raise him and my family didn't tell me abut him until just a few years ago. He looks just like my Dad when he was younger. As anyone can imagine I was surprised to learn of him. We tried to make up for the 3 decades of not knowing each other existed. His humor was very strong when he wasn't fighting his addiction and depression. I frequently let him know I cared about him as he felt very lonely in this world. I tried my best to convince him to stay strong and visit Florida. He had many bad hands dealt to him yet he still inspired me. It's a tragedy for anyone who was touched by him. Jesse was my first crush in elementary school. I always shared my packs of gum and candy with him on the bus daily from elementary school all the way up until high school. When I think of my childhood, I will fondly remember him with a warm smile and a kind heart.
