I am so thankful for the wonderful life Ken has provided for my mother and the joy that he has brought to me and my son...He was a true Grandfather -"PA PA" to Daniel and it was an honor for him to refer to me as his "Almost Daughter"...I will truely miss his humor and wit......"Modesty doesn't run in our family, It gallops at high speed"-Ken Fryman...

The days at Curtis were filled with humor and pleasant moments when Ken was around and our VP meetings always ended with smiles. Phia and I were so glad to have remained in contact with TK and Lil and we are so very saddened by hearing of his passing. He was an understanding soul who could be a friend, but also a guide in bad times, and we will think of him and his wit forever.

Ken was a special person; full of life and always ready to work hard and play harder. Ken and Lil were the perfect couple and complimented each other with their wit and sense of humor. He was one of the " good guys" at Curtis and earned the respect of everyone he worked with, clients and wholesalers. That expierence and outlook served him well in Lynchburg as a successful wholesaler. He will be missed.

Dear Lil and Family,
We loved Ken. He was a wonderful friend to us for nearly 30 years. Our hearts are so saddened and we will miss him so much. He was a genuine gentleman with a great sense of humor. We will cherish all our memories but especially our Lake Vista Yacht Club meetings -- such fun. We always knew Ken and Lil's loving devotion for each other. Ken was so proud of his family. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. We send our deepest sympathy and love,
John and Freida Scott

Hi Lil
It is with a heavy heart that I pen this note on the passing of Kenny to great beyond. But alas we share should great memories that the cloud of sadness is lifted when I think back to the many conventions, meetings, dinners, parties etc, that we attended. Oh what glorious fun we had, his sense of humor and comedic timing will always be remembered. I vividly recall one of the many conversations we have when he ran the Lynchburg agency, he invited me to come down and visit the agency and my immediate reply was " Hell no, I am not coming to LYNCH---burg" He laughed so hard that he dropped the phone. As an African American he found humor in my statement. We often recalled the incident with the Canadian lady on the bus in Omaha, that was funny, but so was he.
I will always treasure the many pleasant memories that we shared together and thank you for making him such a happy man.
May the good Lord continue to bless you and keep you in the palm of his hands and may the perpetual light shine upon him.
God Bless
Charlie Squires
Ps. Sorry I cannot attend the celebration as I am now living in Charlotte, NC
