Obituary of Willard M. Pakutka, Sr.

Willard Martin Pakutka Sr., 80, of Hackettstown, formerly of Hopatcong, passed away on Wednesday October 3rd, 2018 at Hackettstown Medical Center.

Born in Duryea, Pa. on November 10, 1937 to the late Thomas and Sally Pakutka, Will resided in Hopatcong for 42 years before moving to Hackettstown in 2015. He was an avid sports fan, especially of the New York Giants and the New York Yankees. Will enjoyed talking about history and watching Jeopardy. At one time, he held a pilot's license.

Will worked as a lab technician and senior purchaser for Westinghouse/Phillips in Bloomfield and Somerset for 43 years.

Will and his wife of 59 years, Carole (Pesotine), raised eight children: Will Pakutka Jr. (married to Sally), Denise Tobin (Dennis), Chris Pakutka (Christina), Lisa Fogg (Greg), Eric Pakutka, Jen Bongiovanni (John), Curt Pakutka (Kirsten), and Doug Pakutka (Mary). They had 19 grandchildren.
