Obituary of Joyce T. Mergenthaler

Joyce T. (nee: Fioretto) Mergenthaler of Hopatcong passed away Thursday October 25, 2018 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover.

She was 63.

Born in Brooklyn, she has lived in Hopatcong since 1962.

Prior to her retirement, Joyce was a transcriptionist with Great American Financial Insurance Company in Cedar Knolls.

Before her diagnosis with Multiple Sclerosis , she enjoyed cooking, horseback riding, rock climbing, driving and wheel chair bowling on Strikes and Spares bowling league. She never complained about her illness. Joyce was selfless, caring, and had a heart of gold.

Beloved wife of Thomas. Devoted mother of Daniel and his wife Lisa. Dear sister of Frank Fioretto and his wife Marian, Carol Nelson, and Joann Fioretto.

Joyce's Life Celebration will include visitation on Thursday November 1 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:30PM
