Obituary of Muriel Walsh

Muriel (nee: Hynes) Walsh of Hopatcong passed away Friday November 9, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover. She was 74. Muriel was born and lived in Brooklyn before moving to Hopatcong in 1972. A member of the Hopatcong Hills Fire Company #4 Ladies Auxiliary and the Telephone Pioneers, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Prior to her retirement, Muriel was a network technician with Verizon in Madison. Beloved wife of the late Robert J., Sr. (2014). Devoted mother of Robert J. Jr. and Patricia Rudio and her husband Gary. Loving grandmother of Matthew Walsh, Megan Rudio, Samantha Walsh, Aislinn Rudio and Stephanie Walsh. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Muriel's Life Celebration on Friday November 16 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:30PM. Cremation will be private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to Hopatcong Hills Fire Co. #4, PO Box 724, Hopatcong, NJ 07843.
