Obituary of Michael F. Matrisciano

Michael F. Matrisciano, 58, of Hopatcong, passed away, peacefully, on Wednesday December 5th, 2018 at his home.

Born in Jersey City on April 16th, 1960 to Carolina (Battaglino) and the late Michael A. Matrisciano, Michael resided in Little Falls prior to moving to Hopatcong in 1986. He worked as a Brewer for Anheuser-Busch in Newark. Michael enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, hunting, fishing and wine making.

Survivors include his wife, Lisa (Hagman), three children, Carolyn Sumner and husband, Scott, Michael F. Matrisciano, Jr. and Jonathan Matrisciano, mother, Carolina Matrisciano, brother, Frank Matrisciano, sister, Michele Matrisciano and grandson, Matthew Wallace Sumner.

Michael's Life Celebration will include visiting on Monday December 10th, 2018 from 4-8 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral prayer service will begin on Tuesday December 11th, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Michael will be laid to rest at Restland Memorial Park, 77 DeForest Avenue, East Hanover, NJ. Family and friends may begin gathering at the funeral home 9:30 Tuesday morning prior to services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made directly to the family.
