Obituary of Robert A. McConnell

Robert A. McConnell of Columbia passed away Sunday December 9, 2018 at Merry Heart Care Center, Succasunna. He was 74. Born in Dover, Robert lived in Netcong and Columbia before moving to Succasunna in March of this year. He was the owner/operator of ROMCO Trucking in Netcong and enjoyed 1950's classic cars. Devoted father of Gary A. McConnell and Ann Marie Merkey. Loving grandfather of 6 grandchildren. Dear brother of 3 brothers. Robert' s Life Celebration will include a memorial visitation on Saturday December 15 from 2:00PM to 5:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will begin at 4:30PM and will conclude visitation. Cremation was private. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made Alzheimer's / Parkinson's Research.
