Obituary of Joseph Anthony Cinotti
Joseph Anthony Cinotti of Byram, NJ passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at the Goryeb Children's Hospital at Morristown Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. He was 15 years old. Joseph was born on March 16, 2003 in Livingston, NJ to Joseph R. and Jacqueline A. (Bongiorno) Cinotti.
Joseph was a student at The Midland School and he eagerly looked forward to each and every day there. He enjoyed playing with his iPad, watching football, swimming, family vacations to Wildwood and the Outer Banks, boat rides on Lake Hopatcong, looking for pheasants and deer with his dad, running never ending errands with his mom, and getting his haircut every two weeks at Jim's Barbershop in Netcong. Most importantly, Joseph loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a crowd favorite and his infectious smile would light up the room everywhere he went. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mt. Arlington where he attended CCD and received his Communion and Confirmation.
Joseph is survived by his devoted mother and father, Jacqueline and Joseph, his loving Auntie, Gina Cinotti, his proud grandparents, who he affectionately knew as "MiMi" and "Grandpa", Margaret and James Bongiorno, his devoted aunts and uncles, James and Audra Bongiorno, Susan and Jared McCall, Michael and Jennifer Cinotti, Sheri and Andy Sanchez, Donna Luciani and Charlie Crossan, Liz and Bob Juliano, and his cousins, Ashley, James, Quinn, Callie, Luke, Michael Jr., Nina, Gabriella, Julianna, Andrew, Summer, Bobby and Joey. Additional survivors include his great grandmother, Catherine Muir, great aunts, Dorothy Brown and Loretta McGarrell, and great uncle and aunt, John and Ro Cinotti and too many additional dear friends and relatives to mention. Joseph is predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Joseph and Antoinette Cinotti and his great grandparents Robert and Florence Luciani and Josephine and Frank Bongiorno and James A. Muir and his "Pup Pup", Zeek.
Joseph's Life Celebration will include a funeral mass on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 8 Windemere Avenue, Mt. Arlington, NJ. Family and Friends are invited to meet directly at the church on Saturday morning. Joseph will be laid to rest at The Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township immediately following the funeral mass. Arrangements are entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ.
