Obituary of Beverly June Caras

Beverly June Caras, 88, of the Ledgewood section of Roxbury, passed away on Sunday December 16, 2018 at St. Clare's Hospital, Dover Campus. Born in Belgrade, Maine on June 18, 1930 to the late Harvey and Susie (Sawyer) Mores, Beverly resided in Oyster Bay, New York prior to moving to Ledgewood, New Jersey in 1962. She was a founding member of St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Succasunna where she served as a lifetime member of the Altar Guild. Beverly was involved as the first Den Mother of Cub Scout Pack 163 in Succasunna. When her children went off to college, Beverly worked at Kenvil Power Mower from 1973 to 1982. Beverly's most enjoyed hobby was acting as her husband, George's personal chauffeur for 65 years of their marriage. Survivors include her husband, George, son, Ronald Caras and his wife, Donna, daughter, Barbara Caras Wilson and her husband, Stephen, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren and sister, Shirley Wright. Beverly's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 11:00 AM at St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church, 179 South Hillside Avenue, Succasunna, NJ 07876.
