Obituary of Janis A. Tobin

Janis A. (nee: Mezzopane) Tobin of Lake Hopatcong passed away Saturday December 22, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Dover.

She was 58.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ to the late Fred and Joan (nee: Welch) Mezzopane, she lived in Roxbury Twp. before moving to Lake Hopatcong 28 years ago.

Janis was a teller for Fulton Bank in Lake Hopatcong. She cherished spending time with her family and her pets, particularly her grandchildren.

Beloved wife for 29 years of Robert. Devoted mother of Christopher, Scott, Danielle, Brian and Jason. Loving grandmother of Ashlynn, Broklynn and Tanner.

Cherished sister of Lois and her husband Edward. Dear aunt of Heather, Craig and Christopher. Best friend like a sister Renee Harin. Also survived by great nieces and great nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Janis's Life Celebration on Thursday December 27 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:30PM

Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
