Obituary of Florence Hazel Wolverton

Florence Hazel (nee: McConnell) Wolverton of Hopatcong passed away Sunday December 23, 2018 at Newton Memorial Hospital, Newton surrounded by her family.

She was 90.

Born in Dover, she has lived in Hopatcong for 83 years.

Prior to her retirement, Florence was a sewing machine operator. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, old time country music and angels.

Beloved wife of the late Stewart Wolverton, Sr. (2009). Devoted mother of Stewart Jr., and Richard Wolverton and Joyce Pinho. Cherished grandmother of Dawn McPeek, Monika and Ian Wolverton. Loving great grandmother of Cassandra and Paige McPeek and Nathan Hatley.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Florence's Life Celebration on Friday December 28 from 4:00 to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.

A Prayer Service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday December 29 at 9:30AM followed by interment in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Twp.
