Obituary of Aurelia Lucatelli Smith

Aurelia Lucatelli Smith of Hampstead NC passed away Thursday December 27, 2018 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Wilmington, NC. She was 91. Born in Netcong , she lived in Flanders and Desert Hot Springs CA before moving to Hampstead in 2009. Prior to her retirement, Aurelia was a bookkeeper with RoNetco in Netcong. A parishioner of St. Michael's Church in Netcong and All Saints Catholic Church in Hampstead, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, golfing and music by Mantovani. Beloved wife of the late Robert W. Smith (2011). Dear brother of Louis J. Lucatelli, Jr., Leon Lucatelli, the late Frances Esposito, the late Jennie McCarthy, the late Aldo Lucatelli and the late Enea Lucatelli. Loving aunt of many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Aurelia's Life Celebration on Friday January 4, 2019 from 3:00PM to 7:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday January 5 at 9:30AM at St. Michael's RC Church, Netcong. Aurelia will be laid to rest following mass next to her husband Robert in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Twp. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities USA (www.catholiccharitiesusa.org).
