Obituary of Catalina Bukos

Catalina Bukos, 77, of Hopatcong passed away, peacefully, on January 7, 2019 at Regency Grande Nursing Home, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 20, 1941 in Aiton, Romania, to the late Nicolae and Agnes (Veszpremi), Catalina came to the United States in 1991. Catalina loved gardening, knitting, crocheting and various arts and crafts. Her family knew her as a terrific cook and Catalina's greatest joy was preparing meals for her family.

She was predeceased by her husband, Nicolae in 2014.

Survivors include her children, Jolan Kiss and husband, Edmund and George Bukos and wife, Edit, three grandchildren, Emily Kiss, Melinda Flecker and Charles Kugler and one great grandson, Max Flecker.

Catalina's Life Celebration will include a memorial gathering on Monday January 14, 2019 from 4-6 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. For memorial donations, please consider the Hungarian Presbyterian Church, 83 Robert Street, Wharton, NJ 07885.
