Obituary of June Margaret Sutton

June Margaret Sutton, 76, of Mt. Arlington, formerly of Hopatcong, passed away, peacefully, at Kindred Hospital in Dover, NJ.

Born on July 11, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, June resided in Hopatcong for many years prior to moving to Mt. Arlington six months ago. She worked as a Sales Associate in the fine jewelry department of JC Penney Department Store in Rockaway. June was a dedicated past member of the Hopatcong Fire Department Woman's Auxiliary and enjoyed sewing and trips to the casino. Above all, June's most enjoyable "hobby" was spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her husband, Forrest "Jim" in 2017 and a son, Forrest, Jr. in 1963.

Survivors include a daughter, Cathy Marrash and husband, Dave, son Robert Sutton, four grandchildren, Jennifer Havelin and husband, Joe, Michael Marrash, Robert Sutton, Jr., Emily Sutton, great granddaughter, Olivia Havelin and a sister, Jacqueline Moeser.

June's Life Celebration will include visiting on Friday February 1st from 4-8 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 2nd beginning at 9:30 AM at the funeral home. Family and friends may begin gathering at the funeral home 9:00 AM Saturday morning prior to services.
