To all of Karen's beloved family,
Words do not come easy. You have heard most of them by now.
I only want you to know that although it is only a small fraction of what you must feel, my heart aches with you.
I did not know Karen very well, but some things about a woman are evident in the legacy of love that she instills in others. It is extremely obvious that Karen was a Loving, Caring, and Involved Mother, Wife, Daughter and Grandmother. Her love for family and respect for others was inspiring. I hold those traits in very high regard and respected her for having them. Because I honor those attributes so much, I will miss her too.
The apparent qualities and character she imparted to her children and grandchildren are a great testament to her and the life she chose to live.
You have all have been starkly reminded of how precious life and each day we spend together is. I wish you the courage and comfort to still live it to the fullest.
