Father Paul was a spectacular Uncle. My Brother, Thomas (RIP) and I spent many happy days at St. Bernard's Rectory while my uncle was Pastor. He loved his Parish and the Community. So many supportive people who made the Parish so vibrant years ago. Though retired for 29 years Father Paul always kept St Bernard,s in his heart. Thank you for making him so happy. He loved being a "country priest"

Rest In Peace, Father Paul. I grew up in Mt. Hope and attended his mass at St Bernard’s each Sunday. His presence - above and beyond Sunday mass - in those formative years left a positive mark on my life. His passing is a reminder for me to be in the business of planting and not worry about reaping. Thank you, Father Paul.

May his family find comfort with knowing he is resting with the lord.
He will never be forgotten. He was a wonderful person, friend and "father". I have always remembered the support he gave us as children and the patience he had with teaching. Our trips to Bear Mountain. Ice skating and swimming were the best. Who could forget the church fairs when he encouraged us even if we didn't always win. He made us feel a winner. His kindness and talks when my parents passed made it more bearable. May he rest with the lord as deserved. I will never forget.

Father Paul was a great influence on our community in Mount Hope NJ. He appreciated the outdoors and we all enjoyed trips to Bear Mountain State Park in NY with him on Sunday retreats.
