Obituary of Sheri Mendyk

Sheri Mendyk, 46, of Hopatcong passed away, peacefully, on Tuesday March 26, 2019 at St. Clare's Hospital, Denville Campus.

Born in Denville, NJ on September 21, 1972 to the late Richard and Judith Murray, Sheri grew up in Denville and resided in Mt. Arlington prior to moving to Hopatcong 25 years ago. She enjoyed trips to the casinos and was a passionate New York Giants fan. Above all, Sheri enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Survivors include her husband, Alex Mendyk, son, Jake Mendyk, sister, Michele Murray and her companion Chris Culek, brother, Richard Murray, father-in-law, Butch Mendyk, sister-in-law, Tracey Crawford and husband, Mark and brother-in-law, Todd Mendyk and wife, Kristine. Also surviving are her niece, Shea and nephews, Sean, Tyler, Tippy, Chase, Easton, Mason and Jacob, as well as, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Sheri's Life Celebration will include visiting on Saturday March 30, 2019 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Cremation will be private. For memorial donations, please consider the Hopatcong Ambulance Squad, PO Box 334, Hopatcong, NJ 07843.
