Wow ... I am at a loss for words.....what a great guy and a good friend. bought my first boat down there. At Barns wasn’t the best little boat but it was my boat. And he was probably sick of me coming in all the time, Asking questions and to have it worked on... He always had a joke to tell me Or to pick on me or needle on me a little bit.... Rest in peace friend you will be missed!...

There are so many things that Ralph taught me in my life he was a father a friend a boss to me that had the biggest heart I have ever seen. From the jersey shore when we were young, to the snowmobile trips worldwide and to working with him at the boatyard I am going to cherish every one of those memories. My prayers are with the Migs god has truly gained another angel

To All of The Migs,
My heartfelt condolences in Ralph's passing. He was my first Chief (after my dad,)and though he had a tough exterior, and to a young kid, a sometimes scary exterior ;-), he had an amazing heart and was a kind, patient and supportive teacher. The most memorable 'lesson' came while we were at a Fire Drill, I had donned a ScottPak and had just climbed a ladder to the roof of a two story building. It was in that moment that I suddenly became painfully aware that I was afraid of heights. Ralph was compassionate and understanding as he climbed the ladder behind me, escorted me down, and gently, with a knowing half laugh and smile, told me that perhaps my strengths were best utilized, manning a fire hose, on the ground. :-) Little moments of care, compassion and good old fashioned stellar advice like that are the ones that stay forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. Love,Denise
