Herbie, I don't know if you remember me, but I am Bill Aspinall's mother who was a friend of yours so many years ago. Having lost Bill at age 23, I can feel your pain. I can only tell you how I get past the terrible feelings of losing a child. Don't hesitate to talk about her with family and friends. Memories are all you have left. Try to remember the happy times you had with her and share these with others. The old saying "gone but not forgotten" is a true statement. Thank God for letting you have her for 19 years. Life would have been very different if you had not had her at all.

I was very fortunate to have Katie in my eighth grade pre-algebra class. I enjoyed hearing about her adventures and how much she loved spending time with her father.
