Words cannot describe how much we loved our mommy Josie. She watched me grow since a little girl and then cared for my son Thomas who I am so happy went to visit her a year ago and took a picture with her. We found out this week of her passing and so upset we didn’t get a chance to see her as we live in New Jersey. I have not shared with my family yet and preparing myself because she was like our grandma. She watched over all of us. We all grew up together on 63rd street and we were more than neighbors we were a family. She cared for my son like her own they had a bonding that was wonderful. He always remembered that she kept her sweets in her night table draw and she gave him the best homemade Italian meals. I make her recipe of zucchini and pasta and when we eat it we always think of her. Our prayers are with you all and may mommy Josie Rest In Peace and her memories will be with us forever.
