Obituary of Carmela Arbore

Carmela Arbore, 85, formerly of Rockaway Township, NJ passed away, peacefully, on Monday July 22, 2019 at Bristol Glen Assisted Living in Newton, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Carmela resided there, Queens, NY, Lake Parsippany, NJ and Rockaway Township prior to moving to Bristol Glen five years ago. Carmela was an "expert" at knitting and crochet, was a passionate reader and an amazing cook.

Carmela was predeceased by her husband, Anthony in 1996.

Survivors include four sons, Steven Arbore, Lawrence Arbore (Susan), Anthony Arbore (Heather) and Michael Arbore, four grandchildren, Brynn Lee, Lara, Anthony and Alexandra Arbore, two sisters, Josephine Massaro (Robert) and Jean Congemi and three great grandchildren Jared, Jake and Josh Lee.

Carmela's Life Celebration will include visiting on Thursday July 25, 2019 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A prayer service will be offered Friday July 26, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph's Mausoleum in Newton, NJ.
