Obituary of William E. Stevens

William E. Stevens of Hopatcong, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Care One at Morris in Parsippany, NJ. He was 74 years old. Bill was born on August 21, 1944 in Dover. Mr. Stevens was a Supervisor for the New Jersey Department of Transportation and retired after many years. Bill was a Vietnam Veteran and proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a longtime resident of Hopatcong, NJ. He enjoyed spending time at the beach. Bill is survived by several cousins and many dear friends. Bill will be laid to rest at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Wrightstown, NJ. All services were entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing, NJ.
