Obituary of Roseann V. Katchmaric

Roseann V. (nee: Klocek) Katchmaric of Hopatcong passed away Friday August 9, 2019 at Morristown Medical Center, Morristown.

She was 83.

Born in Shenandoah PA to the late Joseph and Stella (nee: Zalewski) Klocek, she has lived in Hopatcong since 1971.

A full time loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, she worked for a short time as a seamstress with Dover Handbag.

A parishioner of Our Lady of the Lake Church in Mt. Arlington and a member of the Hopatcong Seniors and the Golden Lunch Bunch. Roseann was at her happiest when surrounded by her family. She lived her life taking care of her husband and her children who later went on to become her best friends. She enjoyed her cat Angel, chocolate, family parties and socializing everyday everywhere she went. She traveled extensively with the Hopatcong Seniors and her family.

She is predeceased by her husband Leonard George Katchmaric, her great grandson Tristan Kaphan, her brothers Clarence, Walter and Joseph KLocek and her sister's Catherine Stefanowicz, Violet and Theresa Klocek.

Devoted mother of Debbie Cornine and her husband Dave, Christine Houtz and her husband Mike, Leonard Katchmaric and Marie Galate and her husband Duane. Loving grandmother of David Michael Cornine and his wife Deanne, James Kaphan and his wife Irene, Heather Piergies and her husband Joe, Katlyn Houtz, David Houtz, Amanda Katchmaric and Leonard Michael Katchmaric. Loving great grandmother of Brianna Rose Cornine, Joey Piergies and Alexander Cornine. Dear sister of Stan and Larry Klocek and Maryann Selvocki.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Roseann's Life Celebration on Tuesday August 13 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday August 14 at 10:00AM at St. Jude RC Church in Hopatcong. Following mass, Roseann will be laid to rest with her husband Leonard in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Twp.
