Obituary of Michael Castoro

Michael Castoro, 77, of Hopatcong passed away on Sunday September 29, 2019 at VNA of Northern NJ in Dover.

Born on April 27, 1942 in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Santo and Antoinette Castoro, Michael grew up there prior to moving to Hopatcong nearly 50 years ago. He last worked as a Produce Manager for Foodtown in Mahwah, NJ. Michael enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, crabbing, racing pigeons and playing poker at the casinos.

Michael was predeceased by two brothers, Vito and Joseph and two sisters, Mary and Esther.

Survivors include his wife, Kathleen, brother-in-law, Jeffrey Jusko and many nieces and nephews.

Michael's Life Celebration will include visiting on Thursday October 3, 2019 from 3:00-7:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. Friends and family are invited to gather at the funeral home on Friday October 4 from 9:00-10:0 AM prior to departing for graveside services at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township.
