Obituary of Christopher Neal Basenese

Christopher Neal Basenese, 37, of the Budd Lake section of Mt. Olive Township, passed away on Saturday October 5, 2019.

Born on August 8, 1982 in Morristown to Susan Mulholland and Louis Basenese, Jr. Christopher has resided in Budd Lake for 35 years. He was a skilled Disc Golfer and enjoyed everything having to do with the outdoors including hiking and camping. He worked at the Garden State Treatment Center in Sparta, NJ.

Survivors include his mother, Susan Mulholland, father Louis Basenese, Jr. and his wife, Laura, brother LJ Basenese, III and wife, Stacey, two nieces Reagan and Eva-Grace Basenese, nephew LJ Basenese, IV, Godmother, Beverly Whitney and Godfather, Edwin Mulholland. Also surviving are many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christopher's Life Celebration will include visiting on Thursday October 10, 2019 4-8PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ 07850. A prayer service will be offered on Friday October 11, 2019 beginning at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home starting at 9:30 AM Friday. Christopher will be laid to rest at Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Township.
