Obituary of Dorothy Barbara Sargenti

Dorothy Barbara Sargenti, 76, of Mt. Arlington, passed away at home on Monday, October 14, 2019. Born in Monterey, CA, on November 29, 1942 to the late Joseph and Dorothy (Blumetti) Mayo, Dorothy resided in Clifton, NJ prior to moving to Mt. Arlington 20 years ago. She was a secretary for ABC Network in New York City. After her retirement from ABC, Dorothy also worked as a teacher's aide and a librarian. Her favorite pastime was reading, but she also enjoyed crocheting, doing crossword puzzles, playing board games and watching games shows. Survivors include her two sons, Joseph and Robert Sargenti, grandson Joseph Mario Sargenti, two sisters, Camille Delaurentis (James) and Carla Hoolihan (Kevin) and two nieces, Kimberly Torsiello and Erin Reyes. Cremation services are private and entrusted to Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. The family is planning a memorial gathering at a later date.
