Obituary of Mildred Togno

Mildred "Millie" Togno of the Port Morris Section of Roxbury Township passed away Sunday November 3, 2019 at VNA Northern New Jersey Hospice in St. Clare's Hospital, Dover. She was 89.

Born in Port Morris, she was a lifelong resident. Prior to her retirement, Millie was a secretary with Picatinny Arsenal in Rockaway. She also worked as a coat check girl in Giovanni Restaurant in Dover. A parishioner of St. Michael RC Church in Netcong, she also was a volunteer in Dover General Hospital. Millie was a fiercely independent, energetic, charitable person who enjoyed the theater and traveling.

She is survived by her sister, Concetta Cicchetti. Also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces. She is also predeceased by her brothers Thomas and Anthony.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Millie's Life Celebration on Friday November 8, 2019 from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing. A Funeral Mass will follow at 11:00AM at St. Michael RC Church in Netcong. Millie will be laid to rest following mass in the Stanhope Union Cemetery, Mt. Olive Township.
