Obituary of Maximo Colón

Maximo Joseph Colón joyfully came into our lives on March 3, 2014, and arrived back into the hands of our Heavenly Father on Saturday July 5, 2014. He was and forever will be a beautiful angel full of warmth, love and smiles; a smile that cannot be described, but only understood by those fortunate enough to have met him. Known as MJ and MoJo to many, he will always be remembered as a bundle of joy that beamed at anyone willing to look into those beautiful eyes; eyes that did not yet get to see much of this world, but eyes that will forever watch over all those he leaves behind. The bond he had with his sister CiCi may have only been short in time but the love these two have for each other is eternal. For his mother and father, the pain will run deeply on, but the strength of family and friends and the memory of his precious life will push them forward. May this angel rest in peace, watching us from above and always know that we are watching him here, down below basking in the warmth that his short life blessed us with. Survivors include his loving parents, Noelle Fiorentino and Maximo Colón, his adoring sister, Camilla Colón, grandparents Susan and Joseph Fiorentino and Jorge Colón, great grandparents, Lois and Joseph Peters, Aunts and Uncles Allen and Julie Koriakin, George Colón and Gina and Matthew Hynson and Godparents Alexandra and David Streisant. Maximo was predeceased by great grandparents Francesco Fiorentino and Santina Marasco. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation on Wednesday, July 9 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A graveside service will be celebrated on Thursday July 10 at 11:00 am at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, 85 Pleasant Hill Road, Chester. All are invited to meet directly at the cemetery on Thursday morning.
