Obituary of Lorraine Atno

Lorraine Atno (nee:Peterson) of Hopatcong passed away Thursday, May 23, 2013 at St. Clare's, Dover. She was 82. Born in Roxbury Twp., She lived In the Landing and Ledgewood sections of Roxbury Twp. for many years before moving to Hopatcong in 1956. Lorraine was a secretary for the Hopatcong Borough Schools for 17 years before retiring in 1982. She enjoyed sewing, reading books and doing crafts before she became legally blind in 1995. In later years she was the happiest just sitting on her front porch, spending time with her children and was very attached to her miniature poodle, Angel. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Lodge in Dover. Beloved wife of the late Robert T. Atno (2006). Loving mother of Wayne Atno and Dorothy Atno. Dear sister to the late Elmyra Myers (2006). All services are being conducted privately and at the convenience of the family. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, Landing, NJ. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to a charity of a person's choice.
