Obituary of Irene DeAngeles

Irene DeAngeles, 95, of the Landing section of Roxbury Township passed away on Monday January 20, 2020 at Regency Grande Care Center in Dover, NJ. Born in Jersey City, NJ on September 1, 1924 to the late John and Harriet Martin, Irene resided in Landing for 30 years. Irene was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her husband, Louis, children, Louis and Barbara, three great grandchildren, Kevin, Stella and Louis Carl and a brother, Gerald Martin. Survivors include her two daughters, Linda Carl and Maryann Gilcher and her husband, Gary, three grandchildren, Eric and Kevin Carl and Nicholas DeAngeles, three great grandchildren Aidan, Evan and Analinda Carl and three brothers, Leo, Vincent and Robert Martin Irene’s Life Celebration will include visiting on Friday January 24, 2020 from 2:00 – 6:00 PM at Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home, 150 Landing Road, Landing, NJ. A funeral Mass will be offered on Saturday January 25, 2020 at 10:00 AM at St. Therese Church, 151 Main Street, Succasunna, NJ.
